How to ensure commercial soap dispensers are WELL compliant

When specifying a WELL compliant soap dispenser, it is important to meet the following four points in the WELL certification criteria:

  • Touch free soap dispensers must be provided.
  • Sealed soap dispensers equipped with disposable soap cartridges.
  • Commercial hand soap dispensers with detachable and closed containers for soap refill. Soap containers must be washed and disinfected when emptied, before refilling.
  • Signage displaying steps for proper hand washing.
